Completed her under graduation from the prestigious Bangalore medical college in 1994. Secured distinction in pathology in second MBBS. Completed post graduation in Ophthalmology in Minto regional institute of Ophthalmology ,Bangalore medical college in 1999. Trained in vitreo retina in Retina institute of Karnataka in 2001 to 2002. Currently working as a consultant in retina & Uvea departments and also is a proficient Cataract Surgeon at Megur eye care centre Bidar. Academics and achievements : Active participation in various state, national and international meets. Attended American society cataract and refractive surgery meet in San fransico. 2013, presented scientific paper & videos in ESCRS London 2014. She was the chief instructor for the IC on OT Sterilisation practices at APAO 2017 Singapore and AIOC conferences in 2018 & 2019. She has published papers in Indian journal of Ophthalmology and Karnataka state journal of ophthalmology. Awards: At the state conference she has bagged the Muller Paten best paper award in 2005 and the prestigious MM Joshi award for the over all best scientific paper in 2013, Best paper of the session at Asia Pacific society of Cataract & refractory surgeons society conference in 2014.
